Ceramic lagging self cleans much better than rubber and offers a substantially longer wear life. Where the Classic design excels is in the attention to details. Since our company grew up in the service business – we like to apply our experience to practical application in our products.

Classic started by premolding lagging with shiplap joints. This overlapping configuration exerts constant pressure to the seal to prevent dirt and water from infiltrating and lifting the lagging. Shiplapping also provides a rubber-to-rubber seal which, when glued, makes the strongest possible bond.

To save you field work and speed installation, our pulley lagging comes with a bonding layer already applied to the back. This is a soft rubber which makes a superior surface to attach to the steel.

Another area that we gave careful consideration to was in the spacing of ceramic tiles. Simply put, a pulley is a circle. Therefore, by using multiples of PI to space the tiles – we can assure that any cuts you make will be in the space between ceramic tiles thereby saving you wasted material. Classic ceramic lagging is available for just about any pulley and application. We have the capacity to make pieces up to 42" x 110".
